My academic interests and passions center on human behavior, community development, sustainability, and the intersection of psychology and social impact. As a Psychology major, I am deeply fascinated by how individuals think, behave, and interact, particularly in ways that shape communities and institutions. I believe that understanding human motivation—whether in philanthropy, leadership, or social change—is key to creating meaningful, long-term progress.
Beyond psychology, I am passionate about sustainability and environmental advocacy, recognizing the crucial role that institutions play in fostering responsible stewardship of resources. Through my involvement with the Evergreen Fund and the Armstrong Sustainability Advisory Board (ASAB), I have seen firsthand how strategic investment and thoughtful leadership can drive impactful environmental initiatives. This experience has reinforced my belief that philanthropy and sustainability must work hand in hand to build a more equitable and resilient future.
Another core area of interest is education and mentorship, particularly in empowering young people through knowledge and opportunity. My work as a tutor in the UK and my role as a facilitator with Hoos Connected at UVA have shown me the transformative power of mentorship in shaping confidence, ambition, and community belonging. I believe that access to education and supportive networks is fundamental to both personal and societal growth, and I am committed to advancing initiatives that remove barriers to success.
At my core, I am driven by a desire to bridge gaps—whether in education, sustainability, or community engagement—by fostering connections between people, ideas, and resources. I am drawn to roles where I can apply analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of human behavior to drive positive change. My academic journey is not just about acquiring knowledge but about using that knowledge to create meaningful, lasting impact, particularly in spaces where philanthropy, leadership, and social responsibility inters
